ErgoBot
ErgoBot

Built to do good. Not just business.

ErgoBot exists to make workplace ergonomics accessible to every employer, not just those with big budgets or in-house HR teams. We believe that a healthy, comfortable workforce is better for everyone: employees, employers, and society.

This page sets out the commitments we hold ourselves to as a business, and how they shape the way we build ErgoBot.

Employee wellbeing is our product, not a side commitment

Most ergonomics assessments are reactive. Someone reports pain, a form gets filled in, a box gets ticked. ErgoBot is designed to change that. By making DSE assessments fast, guided, and genuinely useful, we help employers get ahead of problems before they become injuries, absences, or claims.

Every employee who completes an ErgoBot assessment gets personalised recommendations they can act on immediately. Not a generic PDF. Not a list of things to buy. Real, practical guidance based on their specific setup, role, and reported symptoms.

We measure our success not in assessments completed, but in risks identified and resolved.

Remote-first means lower impact, by design

Traditional DSE assessments require a trained assessor to visit each employee in person. For hybrid and remote teams, that means travel: flights, trains, hotels, and carbon. Multiply that across an organisation and the footprint adds up quickly.

ErgoBot removes that entirely. Employees self-assess from wherever they work. For complex cases, our certified ergonomists conduct assessments over video call. No travel required, no emissions, no disruption.

We estimate that a single ErgoBot assessment replaces an average of one return train journey per employee assessed. At scale, that matters.

As we grow, we are committed to:

  • Operating as a remote-first, low-footprint business
  • Measuring and offsetting our carbon footprint annually
  • Working towards B Corp certification as we scale

Discounted access for charities and nonprofits

Charities and nonprofits have the same legal obligations as any other employer when it comes to DSE compliance. They rarely have the same resources.

We offer registered charities and nonprofit organisations 25% off all ErgoBot paid plans. No hoops to jump through: share your charity registration number and we will apply the discount to your account.

We believe the organisations doing the most important work should not be priced out of protecting their people.

To claim your charity discount, contact us at hello@ergobot.co with your charity registration number.

Work-life balance, built into how we work

ErgoBot is built by a small, remote team. We work normal hours. We do not glorify hustle. We believe that the people building a product about workplace wellbeing should actually have good working conditions themselves.

As we hire, we are committed to flexible working, transparent pay, and creating roles that work around life rather than the other way around.

Our path to B Corp

B Corp certification recognises businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. It is not a badge. It is a commitment to being measured against those standards, publicly and regularly.

We are working towards B Corp certification as ErgoBot grows. This page is part of that journey: a public record of the commitments we are making now, before certification requires us to.
